Haiti

We are all aware of the terrible devastation caused by the Haiti earthquake. The Servites are represented in Haiti with the presence of a Secular Servite Community in Petit-Goave, some 68 km south and west of Port au Prince. They too, have been affected by the earthquake. In fact, the aftershock of January 20th was, according to the US Geological Survey, located directly under Petit-Goave.

The Servite Coalition for Justice has posted a number of links related to the Servite presence in Haiti. You may visit their Facebook via the link to the right. For the latest news and donation information, please visit the Servite Center in Haiti via the link to the right.
